Its been 2 weeks since I've seen a single pimple on my face. I'm still experiencing breakouts on the back of my neck though. The doctor did say that the Accutane would make me breakout in places I never broke out in before, the back of my neck being the prime example. Now, it's the only place left on me that is breaking out. Also, I have been getting small rashes in several different spots on my body including my arms, legs, chest and hands. I have posted a picture and will go more in detail about that below. I’m still using the same soap and lotion. Since I can remember, I've taken two showers every day. However, this has started to take a toll on my already dry prone skin. Therefore, for the last week or so, and until my Accutane treatment is over, I will continue to take only one shower per day. I think the two showers per day was a huge factor in the rashes I have been getting lately so if you normally take one shower per day, you may never even experience this side-effect. My Accutane dosage has not changed. I'm still taking 80mg per day. The biggest problem at the moment is dealing with the scars the past 7 years of acne has left behind. I've done a lot of research lately on several different techniques for removing the scars from surgery to miracle products and even a few herbal remedies but nothing is looking to promising. I will ask my Dermatologists opinion on the matter my next appointment.
